The following digital video -- TO BE ADDED -- represents our efforts to demonstrate our understandings of the last 50 years of literacy instruction as presented by Finders & Hynds (2003). We created and presented timelines representing 6 major areas of literacy instruction in conjunction with major events connected to social justice issues that occurred during these time periods as well. There are 6 posters total... With the last one, we address the era of New Literacies, while acknowledging that is an ongoing and evolving concept we are in the midst of now.
